Embed the latest tweet in footer using code

Hello there,
I’m trying to set-up your plugin so pull down the latest tweet and then display that in my footer. I have installed the plugin and integrated this fine – but I don’t want to use the Widget. Is there any means for me to manually add PHP code in my footer to show the latest tweet?
