Embed Register Plus into a page

I created a new Page Called Log In/Register.
In that page, I put a link to the login.php file.
My PAGE has this code in it…example looks like this:

<a href="https://www.YOURSITENAME.com/wp-login.php" target="_self">LOG IN</a>

<a href="https://www.YOURSITENAME.com/wp-login.php?action=register">REGISTER</a>

OK, nevermind – I finally figured out that all I need to do is: under Settings: General: check box for “Membership” to select “Anyone can Register”.

I found that using this plugin in conjunction with the ‘sidebar login’ plugin works well, no need to get your hands dirty with code.

you have to drag it onto your sidebar in the Widgets section.
