Embed Power BI Dashboards Makes sidebar and footer disappear

  • Hello!

    I’m having a problem with embedding some Power BI dashboards via shortcode. It makes the sidebar and the footer disappear. Also, the top black bar also disappears, so to edit the page, I have to go to another page, click on the dashboards/pages then find the page and edit from there.

    When I remove all the dashboards from the page, it goes back to a normal page. When I remove the shortcodes one at a time, it’s still broken.

    I’m using the free version of Generate Press.

    The page you linked is returning a 403 error, I’m not able to see your site currently, can you check?

    Hi Ying,

    Sorry! We kept changing our minds how the site was to be structured and it made lots of auto redirects. Not sure how to fix that. You can’t get to the page at all?

    No, I can not get to the site at all. Are some IPs blocked by your site’s security plugin or settings? If so, can you unblock the IPs from Canada? Let me know!

    I think that we just finished hosting it at bluehost and moved/redirected it to our organization’s servers. That may be why. I’ll wait a few days and ask again.

    Hey!

    Just to let you know, I asked our web development director to look at just in case I missed something, and he found what I missed. I did NOT have a closing </iframe> tag. So if anyone else has that as a problem, that was the personally embarrassing fix. If it was a snake it would have bit me.
