    Hi,

    Has anyone tried successfully to embed a link into the #portfolio images?
    You can see on the demo sample site where they are on the homepage:

    https://themedemo.web-dorado.com/theme-businesselite/

    You can customise them in the customiser with a title. The image is taken from the featured image of the #portfolio post it corresponds to but I’ve no idea how to embed a link in the image so that when you click on it, it goes to a page (either its own page or another one of my choice).

    Many thanks in advance if anyone can help out.

    @gab653,

    When creating your homepage in Appearance>Homepage section, you can not only change the title for the section, but choose the category. Portfolio will display featured images of this category posts in Portfolio location. It is not that you choose the images, but instead choose the category for posts. Thanks.

    Hi Sona,

    Oh, I see, so it’s possible for example to change the category to a Woo Commerce category (eg ‘#shop’) and then all the images in the area that is now #portfolio will be taken from the shop gallery?

    That will do the trick if so, I need the photos to link to another area of the site but doing it this way will have the same effect. I’ll have an fiddle around with it later today.

    Your help is much appreciated, thanks very much Sona.

    @gab653,

    Yes, if WooCommerce uses standard WordPress post option for its products and has a separate category, it will be possible to add it as such. Thanks.
