Embed an image-map to replace checkboxes

    Your plugin is fabulous. Thank you, it has been more helpful to my project than you can imagine. I’m very grateful.

    The user will be able to refine his search by state (10 states) or by city (20 cities), set as taxonomies.
    I want to replace the checkboxes with an image-map (area shape and coordinates) so when you click on the area, it accomplishes the same functions as using the checkbox. You can see an example on this website: https://www.myswitzerland.com/en/accommodation/campsites-new.html

    My question is:
    – is it possible and how difficult would it be?
    – how would you recommend that I proceed if it’s not too much trouble?

    I have a good knowledge of image-map and PHP.

    Seem possible, but I have no experiences in image-map, really can’t tell how difficult it is.

    Well, you can take a look inside plugin folder/html/
    taxcheckbox.php if it is taxonomy checkbox
    cmfcheckbox.php if it is custom meta field checkbox.
