Embed a font?

Every time I post a question at 6AM, it’s on page two by 7…so does anybody know the answer to this?

Keep in mind that whatever font you are embedding is still subject to licensing restrictions the author has placed on it, so you may be legally liable if you do this.

I have a unique font on my computer, but I’d like to use it in places like my nav bar and other headings throughout my site.

I have an idea: Instead of spamming these boards by replying to people with “use google” or “use the search,” why not provide one or two real answers once in a while?

Everytime I see your name in a thread, it’s always the same BS.

spamming? get a dictionary, and look that word up — chump. this forum isnt a gathering place for people that cant use a search engine. if you dont like being told that, than I suspect you need to get off your ass and do your own homework. instead of posting questions here that arent relative, and then complaining when you dont get your answer right away.

EVERY time someone is pointed to a search “x” by me — they are provided a link. I do that for a reason — in your case, I sensed your stupidity.

Ya know … instead of snarly replies to a respected VOLUNTEER – who 99% of the time gives “on the money” answers to genuine questions concerning WORDPRESS … you might have better spent the time doing what you were told to do – do a web search! This is NOT a WP issue, and that is why, I suspect, whooami answered in that manner.

Further, just 3 hours after asking a question which is not a WP question – you added another, apparently believing nobody hitched their wagon to your horse quite fast enough. Did you bother at all using those 3 hours to try and find an answer on your own? No? I didn’t think so.

Had you bothered, you would have found the answer is NO, which is why ALL applications, websites, blogs use fonts that are used in all basic computer font folders. Even using advanced CSS codes, the font must reside on the users computer or it will not render. Either use an image, or post a note that your site uses non-standard fonts, and that they must download the font from your site so posts display as intended.

Many questions posted go without an answer for exactly this reason = they are not germane to WP, or have been asked and answered numerous times and people are too damned lazy to simply search the site for an answer. Gets rather tiring answering the same questions day after day after …
