Embed a directory within a profile

    Hello.. is there a way to link to related profiles within a user profile? I am setting up a site for a group of therapists and using UM so that they can edit their profiles themselves. We will have profiles for therapies (eg massage) and for therapists (eg James and Susan) What I would like to do is on the Massage therapy profile have links to the profiles for James and Susan.

    One idea was to create a directory for James and Susan and embed that shortcode in the Massage profile. But I can’t see a way to do that.

    Or can I add an image link in the profile?

    Any suggestions?

    You can either use the “Shortcode” field or “Content Block” field or both in the UM form designer.

    Hello Miss Veronica, thank you for responding. I did try the Shortcode field but could not see how to make it user specific. It seemed like I could add a shortcode to apply to all users but not different shortcodes for individual users. I am a beginner so there maybe something really obvious that I am missing,

    Shortcodes for individual users requires PHP coding
    either based on current user viewing a profile page
    or the owner of the profile page.

    One idea was to create a directory for James and Susan and embed that shortcode in the Massage profile.

    Questions on the idea:

    How many “Massage” profiles will you have?
    How many “James and Susan” profiles will you have?
    The maximum “James and Susan” profiles per “Massage” profile?
    Can “James and Susan” be connected to more than one “Massage” profile?
