When I try to add a channel, I get “Sorry, that does not seem to be a link to an existing video. Please confirm that the link works in your browser, and then copy that full link in your address bar to paste here.”. But when I add the same link to the Video section above, it works fine. It’s a valid link to a video.

    thanks

    Jilta,

Please report back with the following details:

    1) What version of the plugin is being used?
    2) Exactly what is being pasted in the “Embed a Channel” field?

    Version 11.7

It doesn’t work with any videos. I’d rather not post the channel for the client I’m working for. I get the same error message with any video — this one, for example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_iFbIL3zkk, returns the error “Sorry, that does not seem to be a link to an existing video. Please confirm that the link works in your browser, and then copy that full link in your address bar to paste here.” If I paste the same link into either the paste video link above or to a blank browser window, the video does exist and works fine.

If no videos work, there may actually be something wrong with your API key instead. What happens when you embed this gallery code on a test page? Do you see a gallery, or an error message?:

When I use the plugin to embed a single video, it works fine.

What did it say below the gallery test video? Did you see gallery thumbnails, or something else? If you don’t see thumbnails, then the problem is with your API key. You’ll have to create a server API key without restrictions.

The process has slightly changed since we created this video, but it might still help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpKDFT40V0U
The problem is that Google frequently makes small changes to the process and that slightly outdates attempts to record instructions.
