emails with periods not seen as valid

  • A customer brought up that they tried contacting through the website and had to use their personal email rather than their company email because the form said the company email was invalid.

    Company email was set up like [email protected] (contact form 7 viewed this as invalid)
    Personal email was like [email protected] (contact form 7 viewed this as valid)

    I’ve tried to submit forms with various email addresses. It is the period in the email that makes it invalid. Why is that?
