The plugin never had any issues. Of late, I am continually receiving “WP Offload SES – Cron not running” emails. Most of the outgoing emails are stuck in the queue. Emails are being sent fine after deleting the Offload SES plugin. It used to be a great plugin. I hope the issue will be fixed. I see other people complaining the same.

Thank you for the update @catboulin.

Due to the nature of my business, I couldn’t afford to wait, and I switched to WP Mail SMTP Pro by WPForms. It did cost me $39, but it works great.

Thanks @manjunathpmf. We might also have to opt with a 3rd party paid solution as we have the exact same issue.

Sorry but why pay for another plugin if the problem is only wrong emails that we receive ?
why not buying this plugin and specifically ask the developer to fix it for you ?

    Hi,

I see that you’ve moved onto another solution, but I wanted to post here in case you come back to it or anyone else finds it helpful.

We’ve just released a new version, 1.4.2, which should address these issues.

The cron check interval has been increased to six hours by default, which should reduce a lot of the false positives that were being sent out.

This can still be changed with the wposes_cron_check_interval filter – just return the number in seconds that you want to wait between cron checks.

We’ve also introduced a new wposes_send_cron_error_email filter that can be used if you want to disable the failed cron email altogether – returning false will disable the emails in the future.

While investigating we found a few other bugs with the cron check and these have all been fixed as well.

@catboulin I checked the pricing of Delicious Brains, but it was a bit too much for my budget.

@deliciousbrains Thank you for the update. As mine was was a membership site I couldn’t afford to wait for too long. Password reset emails and order emails were not reaching the user in time. So, I had to switch.

I have been using WP SES or WP Offload SES Lite for a long time, and I never had any issues except for the recent one. I still have it installed on my other sites and it does its job well. Thank you.

Since the last update, all pending emails are stuck in Queued status. This is not just one site, but several of my sites that use this plugin. Anyone else having this issue? I have turned on debug log, which shows nothing. Cron seems to be running and I have manually triggered it multiple times. Any help would be great.

Am I missing something here? Admin says 1.4.2 is out, but I can’t see it. I only see 1.4.1
I am having same error of mails being stuck on queue

    Hi there,

This plugin is still facing these issues, and there is no 1.4.2 update. Am I also missing something here?

Being using this plugin for years now and never had any issues, until now.

Therefore, I had to change to another SES plugin, which now everything works fine.

Is there going to be an update on this plugin soon?

I’m having exactly the same issue. I’m not seeing a 1.4.2 update

I have wpcron jobs disabled and instead, i’m using my cpanel cron jobs. Is this effecting the queue time?

Just incase anyone has this issue in the future:

Offload SES queues emails and sends them when the CRON triggers. I’ve had issues in the past where they would get stuck and never send, and also wanted them to send immediately instead of waiting for the next CRON run.

WP Crontrol is a free plugin that lets you run any scheduled CRON task individually. I click the Run Now for the Offload SES Queue and bam, all emails send immediately.

Nice little trick I thought I’d share.
