    Hello

I installed and created email templates for New Orders and Customer Order. I use Flatsome theme.

After saving in the Email designer and i sent a test email. It comes through as a standard woocommerce email, not the new template design. So i tried placing an order, and same thing happens.

Am i supposed to do something special to get the new template to override the woocommerce standard emails? I haven’t found any clear instructions on how i am supposed to activate these new template emails to use them instead of woocommerce emails.

I see you mention something about an override, so i checked woocommerce>status and only find these overrides: If i have to disable any, not sure how. No instructions in your plugin to get your Templates to work. Is it supposed to happen automatically?

    Hey @dmandos
Activating the plugin should be enough for the designer to have an effect. Have you cleared your cache after activating the plugin?

    Best,
    Hannah

    Hi!
I have the same issue! ??
    Cache was deleted!
What could possibly be the problem?
    Thanks

    Yes i cleared all chache.

Here is a link to screenshot that shows you how the email is received and how it is supposed to look.

Same thing happens when customer places an order. They receive the same one line and not the clean invoice as designed in the template. Regardless if it’s the admin New Order email or the Customer Invoice, it appears the same.

    Any suggestions?

    Hey,
Try activating a standard theme, it’s possible your theme is overriding the templates but doing it in such a way as to not show in the woocommerce settings.

    Next try deactivating other plugins.

    Hi!

It happens the same to me…

I have installed Kadence and created email templates.

After saving in the Email designer and i sent a test email. It comes through as a standard woocommerce email, not the new template design. So i tried placing an order, and same thing happens.

    My theme is Astra.

    Thanks

It ended up being a conflict with another plugin. For me, the conflict was with Badge Designer Lite For WooCommerce By?AccessPress Themes. Once I deactivated that plugin, the email designer started working perfectly. Thank you.

I will now look for a better badge designer plugin ss that one caused other conflicts as well.

    Hi!
I don’t have that plugin (Badge Designer Lite)
How did you end up knowing the plugin which created the conflict?
    Thanks

The way i tested it was to change themes from whatever you are using to one of the default themes (keep all plugins active). Send a test email from the email designer. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, reactivate your theme you were using as that wasn’t the issue.

Now with your theme active again, deactivate all plugins except woocommerce and this Email designer theme. send a test email through email designer. It should work fine. If not, then it’s the theme and a plugin together causing the issues.

Then slowly reactivate the main plugins you need to run your site like maybe WP Bakery and any other critical plugins. limit it to 2-3 plugins at a time and send a test email after every 2 or 3 reactivated plugins.

If you notice that it reverted back to the email designer not sending the correct layout, you have now isolated it to the 2-3 plugins that could be causing the issue.

Deactivate those 3 and reactivate one by one, testing the email designer until you have isolated the plugin causing the conflict.

I say 2-3 plugins at a time as doing one by one will take forever. Its usually the small no-name plugins that may cause the issue rather than WP Bakery or a largely popular plugin as their development is usually better than a free no-name plugin. You may be able to reactivate more than just 2-3 at a time if you want.

    Ok, thanks for your post.

So, I understand that you have to invest a lot of time trying once and another until you get with the problem ??

The point is that my web is almost ready, and I don’t really want to change theme or deactivate any plugin… I guess I will need to find another solution. Any idea?

    Thanks again =)

Not a lot of time invested. However it will help you isolate the plugin yhatbitnis conflicting against. Then you can ask the plugin developer to assist with a resolution or a fix.

For me, the badge designer was causing many other issues. This was just yet another so I chose to look for another plugin.

    Good luck

    Many thanks!

    Hi!

    It’s me again… I’ve been trying everything and I can’t solve the problem…

    Any help from plugin author?

I’ve deactivated every single plugin and tried once and another, but nothing happens.
    My theme is Astra.
But when I send the preview email, it works, but not live.

    Thanks

    Hi @florliu,
Have you cleared all your cache? This thread has been marked as resolved. Can you please start a new thread so there is no confusion?
    Thanks!
