Emails somehow wrong (sender Name and sender Email)

    Hello there,

    fund out that some Emails send automatically by the System from WPAdverts have the wrong Sender. Normally all my Emails send by the system are send bei info@infos-xxx Website inkludinge Sender Name Infos-GranCanaria.com.

    If WPAdverts send the Reminder Email, that the Advert is expired, all is correct. Correct Sende Name and Correct Email. If i (admin) enter the Advert and change the Date, an republish it, then the System Email send out that the Advert was published (extended). This email is WRONG, Sender Name ist WordPress and Emailaddress is wordpress@infos-xxx Website.

    I am not sure if other Emails have the same Problem, as on the Live-Page i can not test all system emails at the same time.

    I tried to check in the settings of the emails if something is wrong, but no, all set up correctly. No ther PlugIns or System used Emails are sent with wrong details, only (at least one) from WPAdverts. Any idea what i can check? Where are this emails saved, to check manually if there is something wrong…

    Hi,
    if the message you are having a problem with is one of the emails sent by the Emails Module then you can go to the wp-admin / Classifieds / Options / Emails panel, edit the selected email template there and set the correct “From” header

    That worked, funny that some emails was set up correctly and others not, any idea why?

    By default the contact form message has a From header set based on values in the settings panel, other messages should have an empty From header.

    If they had some values set there maybe they were already customized?

    Yes some emails were customized, but till some days ago all emails were sent out correctly, strange, but now all clear ?? Thanks
