    some emails (but not all of them) are being sent twice. Have been trying to figure out why but haven’t found any solution.

    I’m also experiencing duplicate emails being sent both from the contact form & when a customer places an order.

    Experiencing the same issue, wordfence, woocommerce and forms plugin are being sent twice. What I have done, as a trial is increased timeout settings & flipped to PHPMailer. There’s no message in log files, so I don’t know…
    Also using sendgrid API.

    Update: that didn’t work.

    I am using Post smtp with sendgrid. The post smtp log shows some duplicates. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot? Could it be because post smtp did not receive a confirmation from sendgrid at the corret time so it sent it again? How do I check what is going on?

    Hello, I still did not manage to resolve the duplicated emails sent by postman smtp… Is anyone here?

    I too am facing the same problem. I’m using Post SMTP with Sendgrid API for my WoCommerce based store.

    It happens that once in every 2-3 days some emails are sent twice, which can also be seen from the email log in the plugin. Fore example: when an order is received on WooCommerce, notifications fired at the same time to both, the store manager/admin and the customer, are sent twice.

    I see that this has been a long-standing and unresolved issue.

    Just spotted this thread – are you all using the SendGrid API? Has anyone been able to speak to SendGrid support to verify it’s not a problem on their side?

    If it is on the plugin logs then it is a problem initiated by wordpress installation. Everything is working ok besides that. It is quite annoying the problem has been around for so long without any kind of answer from the developer…

    I know and I understand you, I will tell you another secret, most of the time when the bug needs more investigation, most of the users prefer to switch a plugin then let me find the issue and help the community.

    @yehudah I really appreciate your time and effort to develop the plugin. You really have no obligation towards it but this problem has been ocurring for so long it becomes frustrating that no one seems to have any clue of how to solve it. It does cause some trouble and maybe there is a quick fix that that is easier for the developer to tell. So your input would be really awesome.

    I’m building my own theme to send a mail using PHPMailer. When I submit the form, I use the action hook template_redirect, then I figured out that I forgot to use wp_redirect and exit after I sent the email. After that, email will no longer sending twice.
