    We are trying to implement the MailPoet newsletter plugin in our WordPress installation.

    The problem is that, even if we’ve configured everything suggested in various guides like SPF, DKIM and the MailPoet CNAME and TXT in the DNS Zone, when we send mail to Microsoft domains like @outlook, @live, @msn, @hotmail all the mails end up in the SPAM folder;
    but other domains like @gmail, etc. are working just fine.

    We also verified the domain from My Sender Domains.

    We even tested the mails with the ‘mail-tester’ service of MailPoet and the results are excellent (9.9/10).

    Can you help us to resolve the issue?

    Thank you

    Hi @creatorspace,

    You’re sending your emails from the domain creatorspace.it, right?

    I see two things that can be improved:

    – You have too many MX Resource Records in your SPF record. ‘mx10.mailspamprotection.com’ has 21 records. ‘mx20.mailspamprotection.com’ has 20 records. ‘mx30.mailspamprotection.com’ has 19 records.

    SPF records are limited to 10 DNS lookups. If they result in more than that, the record fails with a permerror. I recommend double-checking if “_spf.mailspamprotection.com” is the right one to be included in your SPF record and if you really need to include it.

    – DMARC Quarantine/Reject policy is not enabled
    A more restrictive policy should?improve your deliverability?and fix any spoofing issues.

    I strongly suggest making these changes and seeing if it improves your deliverability.

    Thanks for the answer.
    The problem is that our SPF record has been enabled and configured automatically by the hosting (Siteground), so we don’t know exactly how to check the issue.

    We can see the 3 MX records in the hosting panel, should we delete some of them?

    About the DMARC policy should we configure the rule with quarantine or reject?

    Thank you
