Emails sent but showing as html code

  • I switched from using mailgun to offload SES lite. And all of a sudden some emails that are sent are being delivered showing the HTML code. Why is this?

    Which types of emails are being sent in HTML format, and which are not?

    Were all emails being sent only in plain text previously?
