    Hello,

I currently have an issue with WP mail SMTP. I connected it with SendGrid and then sent a test mail, which was confirmed as sent. I then checked the spam and inbox of the receiving email, but the email was not there. I have tried different email addresses to make sure but I get the same result. After some consideration, I installed WP Mail logging and the emails seem to get sent, but they just never arrive. I used a Yahoo email as the receiving address. Do you have any ideas how to solve this?

    Thank you for your time,

    Antonis Michail

  • I have had the same problem seems to have just recently started within a day or so. I have WP Mail SMTP installed on around 100 WP websites. Today I discovered that each one of them I have checked sends the test, and contact form submissions with no issues or errors, however they never appear in the designated inbox. I hope this can be resolved ASAP?

    Hi @blast2slay @zerojjc,

If your test email with the SMTP is successful, that means the receiving server has accepted the message from. At that point, the receiving server still has to decide what to do with that message. This might be due to senders sending content that is known to generate high rates of spams.

I hope this helps! Could you please try switching to another recipient with generic content and let me know how it goes?

    Thanks!

@sanzeeb3 Thanks for your reply. Im not sure what the cause was but they are working today. Seems like it was not working for 1-2 days.

@zerojjc – Great to hear that, let me know if you face such issue again.

@blast2slay, We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
