    ferdipm72,

Are you in a WordPress Network? If yes, we are looking for this problem; if not, please check your SMTP settings.

Surely this is being filtered by some spam filter.

    Hello Javier.

First of all, a very big thank you for your work developing this excellent plugin. That is a great service you are providing to the community.

I just want to say that I am also having this problem. The site uses the latest version of plugin and WP and is on a dedicated server which is able to send out emails (for example, all new user emails through the regular account creation process work).

But this plugin doesn’t sent the emails when the checkbox is selected. Also, is it possible to change it to send a URL for them to click and set their password (like the new WP rules dictate)?

    Thanks very much!
    Greg

    Hi Javier,

My site is also a stand alone site. All other services like new account creation or Woocommerce emails are correctly sent so I don’t see any problem in the smtp configuration.

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

    Hello both,

    Thanks for your words.

    Firstly:

But this plugin doesn’t sent the emails when the checkbox is selected. Also, is it possible to change it to send a URL for them to click and set their password (like the new WP rules dictate)?

If you want to support this new feature it would be great. Tell me to contacto AT codection DOT com.

Secondly, check your SMTP settings and also update to the latest version. The previous one had a problem. Please, deactivate and activate the plugin in order to load all options properly.

    Thanks.

Hi Javier. That extra feature is just an idea, but it is not something that is required.

The main problem is that the email is not sent to the new users. I am trying with a small CSV of three users. I have tried with the checkbox checked, and tried with it unchecked. But the email never arrives in the new user inbox (not in junk mail either).

I have the latest version of the plugin (1.8.6). I have not configured any custom SMTP settings, the default WordPress settings are configured (and they work properly to send the normal user registration emails from WordPress).

I therefore think there might be a problem with the user email notification feature of your plugin.

Thanks again for the great work.

    WordPMTL,

Yes, the problem is from the plugin in this kind of cases. Tt is required (required for you and for all the rest which are not using the SMTP settings).

Send me a mail to carazo AT codection DOT com and I explain you.

    Thanks.

    Javier

    Javier ~

We’ve been using your plugin for a while on a clients site and it has worked flawlessly. Just recently (within the last few weeks) when we import a CSV formatted the way we always have, the email addresses/field are not being imported.

Do you know what’s wrong or a quick fix for this?

    informationexperts,

Sorry for the delay, I lost this mail.

Plugin format has not changed, maybe you have updated the plugin after many months.

Please read the documentation in order to see the correct format.

    Hello Javier,
I aready wrote you a mail and you said I shoud ask my question here in the forum. There it is:

I’ve got the same problems like in some of the posts above. After importing or updating users, no emails are sent. I tried with checked checkbox and unchecked checkbox. I use the WordPress default mail settings, not SMTP. Would be great, if you could help me with this question.

    Thanks
    Gaby

    Hi Javier.

I’m having this problem with the latest version. I have tried deactivating and reactivating.

I have tried both SMTP and Default WP Settings.

Both successfully send when using the “Send a Test Email” option of Imports CSV plugin.

But when I do an import nothing is sent/received.

    Help.

    @smuglet,

Try using WP default settings and another SMTP plugin. The SMTP option inside this plugin will be deleted in future versions (for compatibility).

Hi, I did try that also. Forgot to say in the other thread. Same issue occured.
