    Hi there!

    I noticed that a few of my clients were not receiving their automated emails when they’re order status was placed “on hold”, and I noticed that was because they preferred to pay via Paypal. How do I change this?

    Hi @felicemk2020,

    Thanks for using my plugin!

    Are you saying that you do not receive ANY emails from orders made through PayPal?
    Or are you saying your clients are receiving the emails but they do not contain your Custom Email Messages?

    Please advise.

    Also, I found some WooCommerce documentation regarding PayPal and emails — I’m not sure if it’s relevant but it would be worth looking into:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/#section-1

    Thanks!

    I know I”m late but I couldn’t find this original thread via email, and it is still happening. So yes, currently my clients are not receiving any emails that I set up if they have paid through Paypal. Does it matter which payment option is made to receive the automated emails?

    @felicemk2020 — can you confirm you tried all the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the WooCommerce link I sent previously?

    Do you receive emails normally if you disable the Woo Custom Emails Per Product plugin?

    Please advise.

    @alexmustin Hi,
    same on our site. We don′t get Woo Custom Emails Per Product emails form orders made through paypal and stripe. only when the payment method direct bank transfer is selected it works.

    Thanks for your help!

    Best regards

    What kind of product(s) are you assigning messages to?

    @alexmustin any idea?

    @gestaltraeume – sorry, I have no ideas. The plugin works absolutely fine for me on a default WordPress install.

    If you do not have any other email-related plugins installed on your site which may conflict with this plugin, you will need to do more troubleshooting.

    Have you tried this plugin on a different server, or local dev environment?
