Hi guys,
I have set up an email series but am having a big problem getting them to send automatically.

If I click on the part that says “Sent to 733 subscribers. 105 email(s) scheduled.” in the Newsletters section of Mailpoet it sends the next 90 emails. (I have it set for a max of 90 per hour.

If I go to the Advanced settings and click on the link

the website replies “MailPoet’s cron is ready. Simply setup a CRON job on your server (cpanel or other) to trigger this page.”

same if I copy and paste the link but NO EMAILS are sent.

My cron job is running fine but no emails are being sent.

Any help would be appreciated

I think I spoke too soon….
it did send the next 90 when I clicked the url…

I have set up cron jobs using the following commands and had the following results.

curl –silent https://successwithpietnlindy.com/wp-cron.php?24d2866fe34035bb8ce8b5d5542751e7&action=wysija_cron&process=all > /dev/null 2>&1

NOTHING

wget -q https://successwithpietnlindy.com/wp-cron.php?24d2866fe34035bb8ce8b5d5542751e7&action=wysija_cron&process=all > /dev/null 2>&1

NOTHING

curl https://successwithpietnlindy.com/wp-cron.php?24d2866fe34035bb8ce8b5d5542751e7&action=wysija_cron&process=all > /dev/null 2>&1

got email saying

1) Your MailPoet Cron will only send the next batch of 90 emails after an hour, there’s no way to force sending by opening the cron URL. I suggest you increase your sending frequency, example: 22 each 15 minutes.

2) You won’t be able to properly test your Cron commands using the sufix “> /dev/null 2>&1” at the end of the command since this part is to make it “silent”.

If you want to properly test your Cron URL, just do a normal CURL command with a &report=1 to the end of the URL, like this:

curl "https://successwithpietnlindy.com/wp-cron.php?24d2866fe34035bb8ce8b5d5542751e7&action=wysija_cron&process=all&report=1"
