• Hi everyone,

We were using this plugin on a site on which it worked. We had to redesign and redevelop said site and naturally decided to use this plugin again to send mails through mandrill.

It sends a mail when I send a test mail on the settings page, but other mails do not get send through this plugin.

I tried the plugin Post SMTP Mailer/Email Log and with that one sending through mandrill works. I would like to use your plugin though.

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this problem?

Hi, thanks for writing in and sorry you’re having trouble.

Do you have WP_DEBUG turned on and are any errors or warnings getting logged to the debug log when you have our plugin turned on? Also, are there any other plugins that could be adjusting emails; I’m wondering if there is some plugin conflict we should be aware of.

Yes everything gets logged. But no errors are logged when the plugin is active. Post SMTP Mailer/Email Log plugin also had problems with sending because some other plugin was the “owner” of wp_mail. If that is the same with your plugin it could be that that is the problem.

The plugin that was the “owner” of wp_mail was “Quick Buy Now Button for WooCommerce”. Are there any known issues with this plugin?

Or can you provide me with a list of plugins that cause issues?

It sounds like that plugin does seem to be clobbered both our plugin and Post SMTP Mailer (and I would assume any other plugin that sends wp_mail through a third party service).

Does this plugin send e-mail in any form? It doesn’t appear to from its documentation.

Also, how do you know that it is the owner? Is that mentioned in the Post SMTP Mailer plugin?

To answer your other question, we’ve only heard of some potential issues with bbPress at this point but no errors that seem to be readily recreateable at the moment.
