Emails not being sent

Well, just as title says it. My website is run on AWS EC2, and is being proxied by Cloudflare (don’t know if that has anything to do here). I’ve read your troubleshooting guide of why this could be:
1. “The address is not yet authorized”.- yes it is, so this isn’t he issue.
2. “Poor deliverability rate” .- I haven’t even send anything yet, so I can’t have any bounces. This isn’t the issue.
3. “Task Scheduler is not working” .- this is where things get interesting:
-“Check MailPoet > Help > System Status tab”. It says connection succsesful, and it reads the newsletter sending as a programmed task. Problem is, it never stops being a programmed task. It also says cron is not accesible, so I asumme the issue might be there.
-“activate Server side cron (Linux cron) in your MailPoet Settings > Advanced > Newsletter task scheduler (cron)” .- Already did this. I opened a crontab via ssh, place sudo crontab -e and pasted the cron job it says in mailpoet settings. Saved it, tried to send the newsletter again, and nothing happens.I’m really frustrated as don’t know what else to do to get it working ?? Fyi, all other plugin emails are being sent, even mailpoet testing or confirmation emails are, it’s just that newsletters or any kind of emails aren’t being delivered to lists. Some help please?
