    Hi everyone,

Around 24 hours ago I started getting the issue pasted in below – I’m getting around 5 of these per hour, the only thing that varies is both URL’s i.e. the problem URL and the referring URL both vary. The exact text is:

“A user tried to go to https://www.mydomain.com/favicon.ico and received a 404 (page not found) error. It wasn’t their fault, so try fixing it.

    They came from https://www.netvibes.com/”

The email comes from [email protected]

Any ideas? Th only change I’ve made during that time is changing permalink structure to name and date-based from default – everything still works fine, links from other sites still work etc…

Update – it seems like it is definitely related to having changed the permalink structure – I’ve switched back to default and I’m not getting any emails. Does nayone have any ideas of how to resolve it as I’d prefer to use the name and date-based structure…

Yep emails have definitely stopped – does this mean you can’t change permalink structure mid-stream?
