    Yes I understand what you’re saying.
    We will look at a possible improvement to this to see if there is a relevant filter we can use to modify those links but since this is a very minor inconvenience and not a security issue we are placing a lower priority on this task.

    The workaround is simple, simply login to your site by manually typing the renamed login url and then go to the comments menu.

    ya, it’s simple.. but we have about 300 wordpress installs, so it’s very time consuming to look up what the renamed login url is for each site (every site has a random set of characters, we did not want to use the same one for every site).

    But I do understand it’s a low priority issue…

    Also, when do you think the DB scanner will be back? It was a lifesaver for us as we had been having issues for years that kept coming back, until we used the DB scanner to find the source. If you’re worried about false-positives, couldn’t you add a feature that shows what questionable items it wants to remove and then have the webmaster agree before removing it (with a warning to backup first, and that it could screw things up?… plus an ignore option to mark false positives from being detected again)
