Emails broken after updating to latest version

  • Hi,

    After updating today to 3.0.3 and later to 3.0.4 transactional emails are broken.
    Email subject arrives correct, but the body of the email is replaced and looks like this

    —-_SiB-45cf3f02eaXXXX40-Part_1– —-_SiB-45cf3f02eaXXXX40-Part_1–

    Not sure what’s happening but all transactional emails are broken.

    Edit: Sending test email works, but everything else is broken.
    Edit2: Downgraded to 3.0.1 solved the problem, so 3.0.1 works fine, latest version is broken.

  • can you tell me where I can get the legacy version 3.0.1 of this plugin? my transaction email is no longer working too.

    3.0.1 seems to be working with some quirks, the emails sent are not correctly logged on the transactional log panel of sendinblue account.

    would you please let us know if all transactional emails are broken, or if only specific plugin/function related emails are, like woocommerce, password reset etc..?

    We need more information about your sendinblue account to investigate in this case and fix the issue faster. For that you can also use our contact page.

    @bcoolin could you please describe your issue more? Do the emails get sent? Can you find them the logs?

    @neeraj_slit When using the latest version all transactional emails sent by woocommerce (at least thats what I noticed) are broken, meaning they are sent, and logged, they have correct subject, but the body is corrupted and only displays something like “—-_SiB-45cf3f02eaXXXX40-Part_1– —-_SiB-45cf3f02eaXXXX40-Part_1–”

    I think all the transaction email are broken after updating.
    I can’t really tell if woo commerce is since I wasn’t using it at the time.
    but GRAVITY form sure is having problem sending email.
    email won’t go out and will get stuck I think at the google email level? or something like that according to my server provider. (I am puzzled too)

    but again, once I went back to the old version plugin, things were fixed and back to normal.

    All my WooCoomerce mails are not sent. Looks like a problem with mail headers.

    I have exactly the same problem. Some transactional emails (Processing Order and Order Completed) are sent with the right subject but the body of the email only contains :

    —-_SiB XXXXX -Part_1–

    Wordpress : 5.5.3
    Woocommerce : 4.7.0
    Newsletter, SMTP, Email marketing and Subscribe forms by Sendinblue : 3.0.9
    WooCommerce Sendinblue Newsletter Subscription : 2.0.3

    Any idea ?

    So we can look into this for you in more detail, please create a support ticket through your Sendinblue account or email us at [email protected]. It would also help if you could provide us with some message ID’s of the transactional emails on which you are experiencing this error.
