Emails aren't being sent to my inbox

  • Hey guys,

    Been using Contact Form 7 on a bunch of my websites. It’s great for the most part, but having issues with one.

    I tried checking all the details, and everything looks good. But when I send an email through the contact form, it doesn’t end up at its destination. I pointed it to another email as well to see if that would help, but it didn’t make a difference.

    Details:
    – WP v. 4.3.1
    – Contact Form 7 v. 4.3.1
    – Avada theme v. 3.8.4
    – Hosting with Godaddy, who confirmed everything is good on their end.

    Any ideas y’all? Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fifteen theme with all other plugins deactivated?

    I use CF7 on a number of sites and I’m not seeing any problems.

    Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can stop or delay emails on both the sending and receiving ends. It depends entirely on your local Server & WordPress configuration. You will need to investigate this issue for your particular local configuration.

    See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.

    If you find you need more detailed advice, after reading and working through the above links, please include a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface. This should allow others to understand your actual problem and offer a possible solution.

    I checked out the link you provided before I came here, davmerit, and I’m afraid it didn’t help much.

    I have it working on several other sites, so I know it’s a great plugin and will work just fine. It’s just this one case which is causing issues for some reason.
