    Hello,
I have had Contact Form Maker on my site for a few days and I′d like to use sending submitted emails but it doesn′t work.
Can you please help me in fixing this? Thanks.

  • Hi,

This might be a problem related to the hosting configurations of your website. Please install WP SMTP plugin and go to Settings > WP SMTP page. Scroll down to the bottom and send a test mail to your email address.

If the test email will be sent, then the issue is triggered by Form Maker plugin, and we will need to have a closer look.

    Thanks. Have a great day.

I have the same problem. I have installed a SMTP plugin and the tested email sent without any problem. But I still have problem receiving the email sent on this WD contact form on this page: https://create.solar/en/contact

I need to give more information: my site create.solar is hosted on Ramnode server but email is hosted on HostNine server. Proper DNS settings are in place to make sure both the site and mail hostings are working fine – I could receive and send email messages at Thunderbird. This should not affect SMTP as the testing email sends and receives fine.

Thanks for relpy. I have sent email to that address.

I think I have found the root problem: it is the PHP version setting. Set it to the highest 7.1, then the problem occurs. Set it lower, then the problem is gone.

Hi, I’m having the same issue. When testing via the SMTP plugin I’m getting this message?

    Any clue?

    Thanks

“There was a problem while sending a test email. Related debugging output is shown below:

    Versions:
    WordPress: 4.9.4
    WordPress MS: No
    PHP: 7.0.27
    WP Mail SMTP: 1.2.5

    Params:
    Mailer: mail
    Constants: No

    Server:
    PHP.mail(): Yes”

    Hi,

Please be informed that in the case there was a problem while sending a test email this means that the issue is related to the server.
Could you please share the error information with the hosting provider?

    Thanks. Have a nice day.

Hi, I’m having the same problem, I already test the SMTP and it’s ok, althought the database isn’t saving the answers, when I see the submissions it shows me the ID, the submit date and the submitter’s IP, nothing else.

    Thanks,
