Emailing Post causes mess in formatting

I don’t know if this is really a WordPress question, but I just set up my WordPress blog to post from an email account that is set up through my hosting company. (Blue Host)

Everything is working fine, except, when I send mail to my address, the message is given line breaks in odd places and equal signs “=” appear seemingly at random as well as odd numbers at strange locations.

Any idea on how I can stop this from happening?
