Recently we changed DNS for emails to use SendGrid. No issues there emails are being sent. However, your email that goes out to get verification for login is being sent in logs but I’m not receiving it. Any ideas where to look?

Did changing the DNS affect your app some how?

    Hi @serafinnyc

Our plugin doesn’t send any emails. WordPress does that as we use the WordPress mail function to send Wordfence related emails. You can ask your hosting provider and your email service provider if they can see why WordPress is not sending all email.

I think you’re misunderstanding the request. Not to mention contradicted yourself. Your app indeed does send an email no matter thru WP or anything else. It’s a verification email and I’m asking the entire question was could changing DNS have any affect on that email not making it out?

Maybe I’m not making sense to you.

    Hi @serafinnyc

Thank you for the update but our plugin doesn’t send any emails at all. We we use the WordPress mail function to send Wordfence related emails so you will need to ask your hosting provider and your email service provider if they can find out why WordPress is not sending all email.

Do you hear yourself? I mean do you read what you’re writing? You say NOT AT ALL but then say it uses the WordPress function to send WordFence related emails. This is EXACTLY why you are contradicting yourself and this is EXACTLY what I’m talking about. I guess you can’t read to understand what I’m even saying. So forget it. What a waste of time.

    Hi @serafinnyc

Thank you for the update but as stated previously our plugin does not send any emails as we use the WordPress mail function to send emails, so WordPress sends our plugin related emails.

Your first avenue of investiagtion is to ask your hosting provider and/or SendGrid if they can see why all WordPress emails are not being sent as WordPress appearing to not send all email is a common problem.

You guys keep contradicting yourselves. I swear you need to read what you write.
