Email verification for blog comments

  • Hi, I’d like to be able to verify email addresses for whoever that leaves a comment on post entries. How do I go about doing that?

    I don’t necessarily need commenters to register in order to leave comments. I just want to verify the validity of the email.

  • A bump, because I would also like to see such a plugin. I recall seeing one before, but I can’t remember if it was for Drupal or WP. I just looked through the plugin directory and didn’t see anything. The plugin I’m thinking of sent a “please verify” email to the address submitted.
