Email validation: what gets validated?

    Hi,
    I can’t find any info in your docs to explain what the email validation does.
    Does it check for a correctly formed domain, check for commas or other illegal characters before the @?
    Please give some details about what validation is done for email validation.

    Email validation is WooCommerce default validation. It will validate the format of the email address.
