email validation

I am using email validation plugin Byteplant
When I use it together with fluid checkout it does work but with some glitches.
If the entered email is incorrect it does not show any error but prevents from entering card information.
It is very confusing for the customers accidentally entered the wrong email: they don’t see what’s the problem is but at the same time they can not check out because the card field is unavailable
Can it be fixed?
