Email-Users Test email not sending

  • Hi
    I have just installed this plugin and the group email facility and user email facility work just great. I can send and receive emails no problem . However when I try the test notification email I receive nothing . The messages at the bottom of the screen read
    waiting for ‘sitename’
    waiting for cache

    Do you have some sort of caching plugin installed?

    Not as far as I can see. I deactivated a number of plugins that I had for trial and tested again. No ‘waiting for cache’ as far as I could see but still no mail arrived
