• Hey everybody,

I would like to make a very small change that I can’t seem to get my head around.

When a new user registers on checkout, I’d like that the confirmation e-mail, with all of it’s data is sent to the admin, instead of the customer.

Thank you so much for your help.

    Best wishes,

    Tamas

    Thanks Mike,

What I would like, that the exact same email, that the customer would get, would be sent to admin (or any given email address) instead of him. Including the generated password.

Is there a way to achieve this?

An alternate, even better solution would be, that the new user registration email (including user name and generated password) is not sent out to the customer when they register, but when the order is changed to “Completed”.

Is there an easy way to implement this?

Thank you very much for your help.

That doesn’t sound like a good solution for customers – also, passwords are not sent out. Links are to set the password.

The new user registration email is powered by WordPress. There may be ways to disable this through hooks but you’ll need to look into that (this is not a WC issue).

    Hi Mike,

I am using latest version of WooCommerce and WP and the automatically generated password is sent out with the username to the customer.

What I would like to achieve here, is that the customer only has access to some areas of the website (like areas requiring login), after their payment has arrived (e.g their order is set to complete).

Any other solution is highly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Tamas

Use an access restriction plugin or membership plugin and grant special access after purchase instead.
