    Hi, everybody,
it’s a few weeks that when we insert a planned article on the site, so not to be published immediately, the email arrives to the subscribers of published article even if the article still can’t be seen: why and how to solve it? Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@wilky76 can you confirm whether you’re referring to email notifications in Jetpack, or whether you are using an outside emailer?

    yes, jetpack

When exactly do the notification email go out? The moment you schedule the post, or a specific period of time before the post is due to publish?

It looks like your site hasn’t had a full sync with Jetpack in a while, so I’ve scheduled a full sync. Give that around 24 hours to complete, then schedule a new post and see if this still happens.

in practice I bake the post and he is sent immediately, but then if you click on the email find a non-existing page

Thanks, I’m afraid that didn’t translate well; you publish the post and it goes out immediately, or is the email going out the moment you schedule it?

the email comes out the moment I schedule, the post comes out days later.

Looking at the activity log for your site at https://wordpress.com/activity-log/www.unarmadiopercapello.it?group=rewind, you published the post, https://www.unarmadiopercapello.it/2020/06/01/il-trench-il-capo-evergreen-e-simbolo-di-eleganza-innata-storia-e-curiosita-di-unicona-di-stile/, on 29 May at 11:40, and the email was sent at the exact same time.

Immediately after publishing, you unpublished it again, and scheduled it for 1 June, but by that point the email had already been sent.

So that email going out is not a problem with Jetpack. It went out because you accidentally published the post before scheduling it.

it is not so, because he has already done it two or three times the trick: I put the date two or three days later, click ok, then plan and close everything. Then I get the email, and a few days later the article is published.

If it happens again, let us know the moment it does and we can take another look.

But for the specific post you mentioned in this thread the site logs, which you can see for yourself at https://wordpress.com/activity-log/www.unarmadiopercapello.it?group=rewind, shows that post was published, before being unpublished and scheduled. Jetpack didn’t cause that. It just logged the events.

Hi, I entered the article at 4:50 p.m. and scheduled it to go online 10 minutes later. The client told me that the email arrived immediately, before the article went online. I also tried to subscribe to the blog to get these notifications, but I didn’t get any. How is this possible and how to fix it? Thanks

Can you reach out to direct support on this one so staff can take a closer look at all recent posts? Free support is open again now via https://jetpack.com/contact-support/ .

I am seeing a similar issue here but with Facebook and Twitter posting. Is this now a known issue? I post something to be posted a day later but it hits Facebook and Twitter as soon as I schedule it.

Hi Darrell, if you’ll send a link to your site we can check to see what’s happening.

Can you also tell us what editor and browser you are using?

I am using the Divi theme and Chrome as my browser.

The post in question is https://jordanwebsolutions.com/password-day-did-you-miss-it/

I wrote the post yesterday and scheduled it for noon today EST. But as soon as I hit the schedule button, it showed up on Facebook and Twitter. I deleted both the Facebook and Twitter post as soon as it showed up and then just shared it later today after the post went live.

I can work this evening on another post for next week and show you this in action if you need me to.

Please do. That would be helpful. I’ve also tried testing here: Gutenberg editor, regular scheduling options — and I’ve confirmed that’s not publicizing ahead of schedule:
