Email test not working

    Version 4.0.2.1
    Notifications/Newsletters not going out. (Setting up the plugin and testing.)
    I go into email settings and enter a test email. I have checked debugging.
    Not sure how debugging feature works but I don’t see anything to tell me why email does not go out.

    I have an wp email log that shows any emails sent out and the log does not show the Nifty sending out anything.

    I have tried both smtp and wordpress mail with no luck. I have other wordpress plugins that send out email with no problem.
