What is best option for providing email support with this plugin? We love how this works, but we also want to use it to send out group emails to certain classes of users. Please advise as that is a deal maker for us at this juncture. Thank you. Peter

  • You should try some different mail. There could be some bug with the spam filter or the code ect…
The most efficient is gmail I think.

Thanks for the quick response. I think I may have worded my question poorly. What I am looking to do is to use civiccrm to send out emails to my membership/users. Is this a possibility? In reading the documentation and notes, I see that we can manage users all day long, but not a way to communicate with them. Hope that clarifies my question. Thank you.

@taotipeter Hi Peter, this plugin keeps CiviCRM contacts who have memberships in sync with their roles or capabilities as users in WordPress. In and of itself, it can’t be used for mailings.

You should enable the CiviMail component of CiviCRM and use that to mail your contacts.

    Cheers, Christian
