Email successfully sent but still got error notice

    Hello, I want to know why I still receive this error even though my email already been sent. sometimes, I did not send any email and this error came out of nowhere. how can I get rid of it?

    EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v1.7.1 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Other SMTP
    PHPMailer was able to connect to SMTP server but failed while trying to send an email.
    Please review your WP Mail SMTP settings in plugin admin area. Consider running an email test after fixing it.

  • Hi @doubleu14,

    This error appears on your dashboard when the last email sent from your site failed. There might be some automated emails being sent out that are failing. When you get a chance, could you please try sending a test email (under WP Mail SMTP > Email Test) and share the details from that here if the email fails?

    It is not recommended, but you can hide the email delivery errors from WP Mail SMTP > Misc > Hide Email Delivery Errors.

    Hi, I did the test, but the email sent successfully. I’m just going to hide it this time and will open later if it fail to send my email. Thanks for your help
