  • I didn’t know that this portion wasn’t working I just published a few days ago and I got the notification. The part that is broken (that I know of) is the contact form. When someone messages us it doesn’t get mailed to us and gets left in the feedback folder in wordpress.

This is a known issue. Since I hope to publish something this afternoon I will check that out but since my numbers go way up after I publish (1400 subscribers) I assume it is working…

    Hello,

I have the same problem, my 400 subscribers are not notified of new articles and new do not receive the confirmation email ….: o ( <

I’d like to know whether it’s working or not and the question is this… Is it Jet pack or is it just WordPress.
I did find the auto email notifying me that the article was published but it was in my trash and not my inbox. I did publish until 5:31AM and I wasn’t awake to put it in the trash.

Are any of you getting your notifications from the system that an article has been published?

I got it working. I had to uninstall Jetpack and reinstall.

    That’s what I ‘ve done but the problem remains : o ( <

I tried uninstall and reinstall and subscriptions still aren’t working. So far there’s been no response from Jetpack support.

For me it is random. Sometime it works sometimes not. I have see that sometimes it is linked to the wp-mail function that is not working well with some providers.

So i have install postman plugin for email notification but jetpack does not seems to use it. All my other notification are going thru postman (configured with gmail) but jetpack notification for a new post are coming from [email protected]

    So i’m confused

I get the standard notification that I have always gotten when I post. The title of the email has always said: New England fall foliage <[email protected]>
I have never worried about it or that is says do not reply.

I’m going to make a post tonight that will ask my subscribers to take a minute and leave a comment to let me know that that are getting my posts in their email. but I assume that if I’m getting mine then they are getting theirs.

This leads me to believe it may be (for all of you) a conflict in plugins. I hate to say this but you’ll have to unplug the rest of the plugins and then try my method above and see if your subscribers get the post via email…

This is a very tough one since you don’t want to make 2 dozen posts to see what might be conflicting…

That is all I can suggest.

    Hello,

I just published an article there are 20 minutes and this time around my subscribers have been warned, I hope this means that the problem is resolved (I have made no special handling on my site the past few hours)

I just posted 53 minutes ago, but my subscribers weren’t notified. I was notified of a need to approve a pingback from WordPress on that post, but no one was notified the post was published. It’s been 2 weeks in a row on Tuesdays.

@miss-jackie: I’m glad to hear that you were able to get the issue resolved!

For everyone else in this thread, could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

While these issues are similar, they’ll need to be investigated individually.

    Thank you!
