I updated to the latest version of the plugin and sent out a newsletter to about 430 people. I checked a couple days later and there still 320 e-mails in the queue and there was an error message on the queue page about one of the e-mails being invalid. It was gmail address that started with the number “1”. (1wor…[email protected]). It is a valid e-mail address. I removed that subscriber and one other that started with a number (for which there had been no error) and clicked “Run now” to get the mail sending again.

One other bit of unrelated feedback, when I was sending the message I had forgotten to select the mailing list and I got a generic error about being unable to queue the message. It took me a while to track down the problem because the error message made it seem like there was a system error rather than a form validation/missing required field error.

Sorry for the delay in replying back here.

There were some changes to the validation of email addresses and it is possible to now add addresses which start with a number accordingly.
