    Hello I have enabled the email share button by this documentation https://jetpack.com/support/sharing/

    I have added the Php Line via the snippet plugin, we do have a SMTP set up I assume that the emails are being sent through the websites settings?

    Currently, the button is pressed and I get the clock wheel and nothing is happening.

    Can I get this button to open a mail client and add a subject and a link instead of sending an email internally?

    Hi there

    I tested your email sharing button on that page and it worked fine for me, the email came through no problem.

    If you’re still having trouble with it, have you tested in different browsers in case there’s a browser conflict?

    Can I get this button to open a mail client and add a subject and a link instead of sending an email internally?

    That’s not currently an option I’m afraid.

    this is what is shown in chrome if you enter your email and click enter all you get is a clock wheel.

    I notice in Firefox there are other fields which are to be filled out so I tested incognito mode and the share shows the same as firefox. I then disabled all of the chrome addins and it still failed. I am not sure what the next step would be to diagnose why it is not displaying properly

    Since we’re not able to reproduce this issue, it’s a bit tricky to troubleshoot it further. That said, can you please try reproducing the issue, follow up the guide below, and let us know what you see?

    Update: Silly me:

    Works on Chrome when not logged in issue occurs when logged in to the website. It did not occur to me that could be the issue I am sorry I did not check that earlier.

    I will need to create your team an account to diagnose how do I get the information to create you an account?

    Have you followed up my suggestion in looking at your browser console? Do you see any error there?

    If possible, we suggest trying to run testings with only Jetpack and a default theme like Twenty Twenty. Let us know if this issue still exists with that test.

    Still occurs with the twenty twentyone theme, had a look at the browser console and I have not seen any errors. I also deactivated all but snippets woocomerce and jetpack and it is still not sending when logged in.
