Email Sending Rate

Hi,

Thank you for the great plugin, I really like it. I just have a question if there is a way to set a maximum limit of how many emails per second can be sent out?

Amazon SES has its own sending rate limits and I’m not sure what happens if the wordpress will be sending messages at a higher rate.

Would appreciate if you could clarify this matter.
