    I hope you’re doing great!

    I’ve just tried to reset password in the demo site and I got the email. So I am thinking It could be an issue with how your mail configuration is setup. But no problem we can do a few steps to debug this issue.

    Do other email notifications work? e.g. The new user email notification.

    If other emails are working fine, please try the following step:

    Go to Member Chimp > Settings > Emails > Reset password.

    Please make sure it’s enabled (Enable this email notification is ticked)

    Try the above steps and let me know.

    Hi Ahmed,
    The user’s new e-mail notification works correctly.
    The sending of the verification code email also works.
    I had already enabled password recovery but it doesn’t work.
    It could be useful to know that I use role management and a specific domain in the registration email.

    Ok since other email notifications are working well, this rule out any issue with Mail server.

    Do not worry, I’m here until you find a fix to this problem. Let’s just try one of these two solutions.

    1. Can you turn off all other plugins, switch to default theme, then test the password reset email again? If we find a conflict plugin, then that will make it easy.

    2. Can you try to reset password for another email? e.g. another domain. Will the email work? Please also make sure the email already exists in your WordPress users database.

    Let me know if any of these steps solved it.

    Hi Ahmed,

    I followed your suggestions and the problem was the Google Captcha plugin (reCAPTCHA) by BestWebSoft.
    Now everything works correctly.
    Thanks to the availability.
    I have almost completely translated the plugin into Italian.
