email registration rejected by some servers

  • Hi, while trying out your plugin I noticed that mail will not deliver to some servers, it results in a BAD HEADER message on the server and a reject. This same server WILL receive a standard WP new user email when using the regular WP Users section in admin to create that user. FYI, the error on the server is:

    amavis[1393]: (01393-15) Blocked BAD-HEADER-0 {DiscardedInbound}

    BUT when sending a normal successful WP new user email, I see this in the mail server logs:

    amavis[1393]: (01393-16) Passed CLEAN {RelayedInbound}

    So, I know your mail is being sent out, but it is being rejected on the server end by some (not all) servers. (I assume all the ones that have amavis installed, which would be a lot of them)

    Hi,

    it’s server side configuration. Almost all clients receiving email notification with our plugin. Please check your server support with above errors.
