Email registered users in Paid Memberships Pro?

    Hi, the Paid Memberships Pro plug-in looks perfect for a site I’m working on, but the admin also has the need to be able to email registered users or groups of registered users when needed. Not a receipt, but announcements to certain registered users. Is there a way to organize users into groups, and is there a way to send a custom email through the site to these groups? Does the plug-in do this, or can it work alongside another plug-in that does (for example something like WP Email Users)? Thank you!

    Hi @jonasweb,

    Thank you for considering to use Paid Memberships Pro.

    Unfortunately this feature is not available in Paid Memberships Pro. We usually recommend in using another mail service such as MailChimp or similar.

    You could possibly use another mailing plugin, if the mailing plugin supports Paid Memberships Pro or alternatively if you can email user’s based on their role.

    If you are able to send emails according to user role, you may use the PMPro Role Add On to assign a custom user role based on per level. I’m not sure if this is enough or you would like to organize your members some other way?

    Paid Memberships Pro is very extendible and you are able to write some custom functions to tie into Paid Memberships Pro to suit your needs as well if need be.
