Email question about joining WP Slack workspace

    Hello. As a plugin developer, I would like to join the WordPress Slack workspace. These instructions indicate:

    >> You?re going to receive an email at [email protected], which will forward to [email protected], the email associated with your www.remarpro.com account. Only Slack can email this special address, so you don’t need to worry about spam. After you accept the invitation to join Slack, you can change your email, but that email address will be public.

    >> I understand. Please send me an invite.

    Is it OK to continue even, though for the past several months I have been using that same email address ([email protected]) to login to a separate Slack workspace–one completely unrelated to WordPress or the plugin I maintain? I continue to login to this separate Slack workspace every day–it is required for work.

    To be clear, I have attached this email address ([email protected]) to my WordPress user, and use the same email address for my work correspondence (which is separate from the WordPress plugin I maintain).

    I use the same email address for several slack workspaces. There are no conflicts, as far as I see.

    There’s no conflict when using the same email address for multiple slack workspaces. According to this Slack help article, you’re actually creating a new slack account with each workspace you join.

    If you plan to join more than one workspace, you’ll need to create a separate account for each one. You can join as many workspaces as you’d like, and there’s no limit to the number of Slack accounts you can create with the same email address.
