• When sending a test mail and looking at the log entry, the preview of the email doesn’t appear. It will only flash and be visible for a split second, but the preview is empty afterward. See attached screenshot and screenrecording. It looks like this only happens when it’s an HTML email. Video: https://i.imgur.com/rHqbq5R.mp4

    Hello @toineenzo,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when something isn’t working as expected.

To help us better understand the problem, I recommend that you check your browser console for any error messages or logs. Here are the steps on how to do that:

Step 1: Launch your browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).

Step 2: Right-click on the webpage and choose “Inspect”, or use the shortcut “Ctrl + Shift + I” (Windows) or “Cmd + Option + J” (Mac).

Step 3: This will open the Developer Tools window either at the bottom or the side of your screen.

Step 4: Navigate to the “Console” tab within the Developer Tools window.

The console will display error messages, logs, and other pertinent information related to the webpage. Please make sure to share any relevant information with us.

Once you’ve gathered this information, please feel free to reply to this ticket with the details. We’ll be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sorry for the late reply @ibrahimsharif

When clicking on the preview button, there are no errors or warnings visible in the console. I also tried to see if maybe it’s an incompatibility issue with my browser or a browser extension, but no luck in a different browser or in a incognito window.

You can find a log attached here, which I generated after I sent a example email: https://pastebin.com/raw/4X6uLgTA

You can also find a system info export here: https://pastebin.com/raw/cbXnXkUm

    Hope this helps

    Hello @toineenzo,

Thank you for your patience while I took time to get back to you and for providing the additional information. I have reviewed the system information and log files you provided, and I see that you are using PHP 8.1.

Could you please confirm if you have tried using PHP 8.0 or an earlier version? It is possible that the issue you are encountering is related to PHP 8.1, and downgrading to an earlier version may resolve the problem.

Additionally, I would recommend checking for any plugin conflicts that may be causing the issue. To troubleshoot plugin conflicts, please follow these steps:

    1. Disable all plugins except for FluentSMTP.
    2. Check if the issue persists.
    3. If the issue is resolved, enable each plugin one by one and check if the issue reappears.
    4. Identify the plugin that is causing the conflict and make a note of it.

Once you have identified the conflicting plugin, please let us know the name of the plugin so that we can further investigate the issue.

Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
