• Hello All,

I want to update my blog from two different domains.

    1. la-vita.united states
    Updates automatically.
    2. winlink.org does NOT post.
    Must post automatically

    Here is the error:

An unauthorized message has been sent to Life On The Sea from [email protected] (Cron Daemon). The subject of this message was: ‘Cron <galaxy123@linhost269> /web/cgi-bin/php5 “$HOME/html/blog/wp-content/plugins/postie/get_mail.php”‘.

If you wish to allow posts from this address, please add [email protected] (Cron Daemon) to the registered users list and manually add the content of the e-mail found below.

    I added [email protected]
Have it a User Name and Password.
    Didn’t work.

Emails posted from winlink.org must be updated manually.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

    Thank you,

    Lynn

  • Hello,
wordpress use POP3 protocol for ‘post via e-mail’ and use POP3 default port number 110. If you want to post from two different domain then you need to modify the wordpress core code and socket programming needed.
    Thanks

    Hello shofiur,
Thank you for your reply. I came to that conclusion a few days ago. I went to Elance.com and submitted a proposal asking for a WP expert to write the porgramming needed to post from two different domains.

I had 6 bids. Only one company, Catdynamic, was able to convince me he can do the job.

He should begin in a few days. Hopefully, the code will be successful.

Thank you again for your thoughtful reply.

    Sincerely,

    Galaxy123

I have the same problem, as I run a WPMU with multi-domains. Did you get postie to work with multiple domains?
