I have two checkboxes on my form and until around July 26 or 27 they were working perfectly when submitting using the email notification conditions.
After that date the email conditions don’t work. I make a copy of the form and deleted the email notifications and created just one with conditions of only sending the email if both checkboxes are checked. No email is sent. If I remove the condition the email is being sent without further issue.

    Hi @nibetanco

I hope you are doing good today.

    1. Does the form contains any fields that are hidden via conditional logic?

    2. Could you export your form into google drive or dropbox and share a link in your next reply so that we could take a closer look at this?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

1- No hidden fields. Also this has been working for months until the date I said before.

I also tried to import that file to a completely different WordPress website in a different server etc. but with Forminator plugin updated too. It didn’t work either

    Hi @nibetanco

    I hope you’re well today!

Please try this modification of the form and let us know if it works for you:

    1. edit the field(s) of the form on which e-mail conditions are based
    2. and in that fields edit option values in a way that they no longer contain uppercase and/or special characters;

for example, instead of “Check-if-you-need-a-box-and-packing-materials” set the value of option to “check-if-you-need-a-box-and-packing-materials”

    3. save the form
    4. go to e-mail notifications and edit them
    – in conditions settings remove conditions
    – save the form
    – re-add conditions again
    – save the form

Please test it and let us know if it works for you.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

Hello, I tried this and it doesn’t work still.

    Hi @nibetanco,

The steps that Adam mentioned should have worked. The issue noticed is with uppercase text present inside the “Checkbox” as values and hence the emails aren’t getting sent. We are already working on a fix regarding this in the next release.

I tested your form by making the above changes and can confirm the email gets sent when both checkboxes are sent.

I’m attaching the updated form here; please test with the attached form and see how it goes:

    Looking forward to your response.

Do you think it might be the original form has the values too long?

    Hi @nibetanco

I hope you are doing well.

It is more about a known issue that we have on checkbox conditionals, however, there is some improvement and fix coming in Forminator 1.18.

For checkbox values, we suggest not using special characters and spaces, for example, “You’re” as a label we should use “you-are” as a value.

    Best Regards
