Email notifications sent out when updating post

    Hi,

    In Jetpack text it is written:
    “Jetpack?will only send out notifications for?new?posts. Publishing other post types (like pages or a custom post type) or making updates to an already published post will?not?send a notification e-mail.”.

    But in my blog my subscribers gets new email every time i do an update or correction in older post. Is it any setting in Wp or Jetpack for sending emails only for new posts only?

  • That sounds very unusual. Can you give me an example of a post that was emailed to subscribers? When did you receive an email about that post?
