Email notifications not working – Windows Server

I have a installed WP on a Windows server, and my email notifications doesn’t seems to be working. I have installed WP Mail SMTP plugin and it sent me the email fine.
Can you please help me here!! I am a Newbee. Please be precise in your instructions.
